Thank you for creating these tutorials. We run a Maker Space for kids and with the COVID19 lock down we're looking for online content to share with our community. It seems like Voxels fit nicely with the kids who love 3D modeling (and Printing). I'm enjoying learning VoxEdit and can't wait to share it with our community! You're doing a fantastic job!

Nice tutorial! Thank you! What about transparency? Like with a liquid?
@Voxelize2 жыл бұрын
Right now transparency is only an option supported in the dashboard when setting an uploaded block. I go over that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqjWqmtnnJllnK8

Hey, thx a lot for those priceless tutorials. I noticed one thing tho, at the beggining of this video you mention the "new ui, controls, and features vid" and say we should watch it first, but then it comes in fifth position in the playlist, i find it very confusing. So if you could merge a new tutorial playlist, using maybe one or more alphe ones as intro (the one you find still relevant), and then rearranging the beta videos it would be a great enhancement for the community. Again thank you, i ll keep watching your work here, it s very helpful, i m still full of wondering, i would have tons of questions ! cheers from France

Ah thanks for pointing that out! I think I reorganized the playlist a while after making the video, so I had forgotten I said this.

Hello Voxelize, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions Can magicalvoxel be used to use in sandBox game? Can models be imported into SandBoX generated with blender or other apps? thanks in advance i'm new to this by sandbox

What's up Voxelize. Thanks for the awesome tutorials! I do have an newbie question for this group...How do you import the individual voxels into the modeler/animator? I've been trying to figure out the import functions for the blocks but cannot seem to hack it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and keep up the excellent work! You already have voxels from MagicaVoxel? You should be able to just open them by using the Open button from the Modeler's main menu, but you can also start an animation project and use the Library panel menu to import VXM (VoxEdit) or VOX (MagicaVoxel and many other programs).

@@Voxelize Great thanks for the reply. I'm only using Voxedit for now. Do you recommend using both MagicaVoxel as well? I like to master only Voxedit but if MagicaVoxel is highly recommended then I can start learning that program as well.

Hi friend, I would like to know how do you put the details in a single square to have more realism ... as much as I look I do not find. and I would like to learn.

Blocks are at a set resolution of 32x32x33 so we can’t make them more detailed. This was an intentional art direction decision for The Sandbox to use a 32 voxel per meter scale for all objects.

@@Voxelize oh, what a pity then... but thank you

Is there a way we could edit the official blocks? Like edit the grass block from GM.
@Voxelize3 жыл бұрын
I can ask if we can make these available. As their official game artwork I'm not sure that will be possible. But you could make your own complete sets if you wanted to make sure you had everything matching.
