I worked as resident DJ at Smarty's in Manchester during 1978 and this and there other song Souvenirs filled the floor. Great memories of 1978 with 2 boxes of 12" records and a box of 7" singles. Happy days.

Yes the late 1970's was it for me. Disco music was mostly all I played on my 8-track player in my new Camaro. Yes, for me the 1970's was the place to be. Whet ever happened to great music like Voyage, and where did it go? Remember back in the 70's there were no mobile smart phones, just pay phones on the side of the road I would stop at to call a girlfriend. To many memories here. Thanks for posting this treasure.

From what I can gather, this is a track from an album that they made about travelling around the world. It has a series of tracks inspired by different countries, but each with a similar backing score. This is a fond memory for me, as my first trip overseas without my family (school trip) to Frances.

Amazing band. Bass player is incredible and he never slaps or pops the strings like most funk players do. Very unique style in that sense. Amazing drummer totally looks like a Frenchman of that era. Love that guy! And the keyboard player. Perhaps the genius of this operation

This track will always hold a very special place in my heart. I lost my dad recently and this one of his favourites. One of the few things we used to do together was listen to his records, he’d tell me what it was like at the London discos he used to go to in the 70’s like Cheeky Pete’s in Richmond and The Cats Whiskers. This song started a life long love of disco for me and will always be my all time favourite track. It’s arguably the finest disco track of all time.
