Been following the RCMG videos a while and enjoy them greatly. That switch is a bad idea as I had one of those that caused my model to crash. The switch is poorly built.

cant the steering rod go through the seat instead of the seat over the rod

The seat sits on top of the servos. So there is no way to get to the screw that locks on to the push rod, with the seat in place...

Been watching y'all for a short while, you got some interesting content. You dont know me from Jack, but I wonder if you gents ever do some rc designing? Reason im saying this, is back in the 80's my pappy had this bird, the Sonerai 1 from Monett aviation, and this bird is really cool and cheap to fly, but the looks are off the charts. That plane has many problems with its design you can't open the door when wing is on.
