A little KY Jelly on the male part would have worked as well.😂

Unfortunately Mad Colin borrowed the KY for one of his special parties and never brought it back ✊

As far as the wing securing bolts, I would have taken you approach a bit further. Using the same bolt, I would have mounted a nut on the bottom side of the wing, the same way as on the top. I would have also installed a brass tube that the wing securing bolt would pass through. This would fit inside your wing tubes. (This means you would have to widen the holes in the wing tubes to allow that brass tube to pass through, which allows the wing bolt to pass through. This will mean you will have to glue the brass tubes to the wing tubes. The nut on the bottom of the wing would be mounted flush to the wing's surface. The nut on the top would need to be mounted deeper into the top surface of the wing to compensate for the thickness of the wing bolt head to make it also flush to the wing's top surface. In this method both nuts are permanently installed in the top and bottom wing surface. In a similar method, the brass tube can be the length between each securing nut on the top and bottom of the wing. The nut on the bottom of the wing would be the only one permanently installed in the wing. The brass tube would not be glued to the wing mounting tube since it would be longer than the thickness of the wing mounting tube. This tube would be slipped into place , followed by a washer on top, then the wing mounting bolt. Once installed in both methods, cover the wing mounting bolt heads and wing mounting nuts with removable tape to improve air flow.

What did you use for the wing connectors, the powerbox ones? Iv been looking for another option other than those. Funny how you think it won't be much work to get flying until you start going down the list of things to do!

While all the little improvements take time just think of the time saved at the flying field and the frustration avoided due to the extra effort in the build.
