You can get a quest 2 for as low as $80 on marketplace. VR is not expensive anymore. It's so frustrating that people completely write it off as this wildly expensive hobby or something. Its like cheaper than buying a monitor in some cases.

my current view of vr chat is just people who are on there to be overly sexual nuisances. almost everytime I get bored and decide to boot it up again whether just on my computer or on my quest its a lot people that are just there to be trolley or overtly sexual. I don't know if that's truly what its like but the past many times I've booted up the game it has and I think there's just very low filtering of people like that which really pulls me away from ever wanting to really play it for any meaningful amount of time which sucks because it is such a cool idea.

I really do think VRChat is my favorite game of all time, if you can even call it a game. I get to hang out with friends that live across the world. Its got some of the most wonderful and beautiful experiences I've ever had that have made me feel so many emotions (Lookin at you Astral Bounds, that world is pure artistry). It isn't a replacement for hanging out with friends IRL, but I don't think its lesser. Its a different way to socialize and its really helped with self esteem for me. I get to be my truest self (my fursona lmfao) and it brings me a level of comfort I don't think you can get elsewhere. EDIT: 9:37 Equilibrium is SO GOOD. It just blows my mind how it expects you to NOT see things that took hours of work, and I think it's very intentional and again, anti capitalist. Most people would want to have people experience EVERYTHING they made for something like this, but the visual effects at times are so intense you just CAN'T see certain events. Shoutout DJ Axolotl

The Squiddy-WH, Squiddy-B, and Flip Forge Palette are all great options for a school flipper! The best of those flipping wise is the Palette for sure, though I'm not 100% sure that wouldn't be taken, similar problem with the Squiddy-B. The WH you could likely get away with due to it's design, though I still would avoid flipping it anywhere but outside or at lunch as schools are usually pretty bad about letting students have toys at all. The Palette will also give you the closest experience to metal between these options. Hope this helps!!!

I don't believe you fully understand how markets work. Yes people will make things for free but only to an extent and only at a certain quality when they entirely lack a financial incentive. This problem will only get worse over time as they continue to make free content and continue to receive 0 compensation for it. Eventually they're going to have to resort to finding a way to sustain themselves in their field or move on to something else that will. In today's climate, this takes the form of advertising and sponsorships, which is a terrible solution since it makes the experience worse for the consumer while also most of the time not properly sustaining the creator without an additional source of income. This all can be remedied by the creator simply asking for a small amount of compensation from the consumer. However nobody wants to do this nowadays because everyone has become accustomed to receiving everything for "free" instead sacrificing their privacy and information being sold to advertisers. This advertiser based system can be (and most of the time is) incredibly predatory, invasive, and transforms the consumer into the product to be sold to advertisers. It's very concerning that in this video you say that you were able to experience this great thing and you didn't have to pay for it as if it's a good thing. If you received something that you deemed to have great value, why wouldn't you want to compensate the individual(s) who provided it to you?
