On Q1 I´m happy with just an silicone cover, but on Q2 the interface doesn´t mold to your face due to the hard plastic, which makes it less comfortable and is the reason I´m gonna get one

I used to not use the top strap and the original facial interface was miserable, but it’s really not that bad when you use the top strap correctly.

@@Chaxlotl Same-- my original quest is noticeably rougher. I thought it might be due to use, but even after frequent washings, my quest 2 facial interface is so soft. I'm always surprised to hear complaints about it. Maybe some people's are actually different.

@@dizzyoru its really rough and soaks up sweat and facial oils. I personally don't like it and it irritates my face after playing for a while. Also, I had a friend come over that sweats way more than me, he made it actually soaked. If you plan on getting a quest just try it out without VR cover. If you don't like the OEM cover then get vr cover.

For anyone getting this I recommend the thicker one and I recommend the back cupping head foam it makes the headset like a marshmallow and if your really wanting even more then I recommend the vr cover controller grips

I received my VR covers for my Quest 2 in mid-October, and they are way better than the ones for my Quest 1. If you have the money, get the HTC DAS as well.

I have both oculus go and oculus quest 2, I noticed that oculus go lenses are much closer to the eyes therefore more fields to see. Does your cover solve my issues with quest 2? Thanks

That's what I did got new vr cover for quest 2 then used amvr slim pad from quest one it's pu leather but has holes which is good. Came out so so good eyes almost touch lens but as close as possibly could be

Just bought this VR cover and the Occulus elite strap. Both the stock cover (silicone or even the foam) and strap were HORRIBLE for me. As a rift 1 owner, I knew there could be more comfort. I guess they wanted to make it 300 dollars with the quest 2 and then let peopel add accesories... SO thankful for VR cover. I used it on my rift I got in march 2018 and Now that I got a quest 2, its 10x better display and tracking but needed the elite strap and vr cover to make it awesome!

I have to use the thick one cause you can't use eyeglass spacer with vr cover. Im guessing the thicker one is for glasses. But very comfortable. Have you done a video on gunstocks yet?

personally the light leakage never annoyed me as i would have to look down to see itand even then it was tiny, id prefer this to having my nose squeezed and interuptting my breathing which is what the clips do to me.

I wear glasses and I just got VR cover. Personally it felt comfortable but it did not fit my glasses or my son's and they are not big glasses. It push the glasses right into our faces. Also everyone who tried it found it hotter. Gone back to the original.

The memory foam is actually not comfortable. It spreads on the forehead and the chickbones way too much. Quest 1 VRCover is better.

The PU leather is the worst material possible. Sweat, sweat and sweat. They did not care to make holes at least. This PU leather should be ventilated with holes. The best material would be fabric which you can wash.
