I'm a senior, retired and on a fixed income. I thought my golf days were long over. But since I found out about Golf+ I've probably played over 200 rounds now solo or with friends hundreds of miles apart. Rain, snow, 10 below zero, real weather outside doesn't matter. I love popping my headset on and heading out to a course like Kiawah or Valhala for a round or two. And, at the rate new courses and features are being added, I don't think I'll ever get bored with it. Thanks, Golf+. Never a dull moment around my place.

@@GOLFPLUSVR I'm so grateful for your product. I hate exercise for exercise's sake so Golf+ keeps me active and limber as I reach my middle 70's. I still have the full swing capability that I had in my teen's and hope to keep it going for a long time to come, thanks to y'all. I'm a huge advocate for seniors to jump into Golf+ and have fun. And I can still slice just as bad as I did as a teen. 😳

VR Golf brings people together around the sport we all love, brings family and friends back on the course together when living miles apart, introduces new players to golf in a less stressful way, and brings back the joy of golf to those who can no longer make it to the course and physically swing a club. Our mission is to grow the access point to golf, and ultimately get more folks out on the course. Golf is the best sport ever (slightly biased lol) and we are here to grow the sport with our ever increasing community of players. To those in here that are already playing GOLF+, thank you for continuing on this journey with us, it's been a fun ride so far!

Fantastic video! Golf+ is what got me to play golf “for real” got my Quest in November of last year and started playing in the spring this year. The best thing about Golf+ is their staff. It’s incredible how close they are with their player-base. Their discord is phenomenal, any questions or requests are directly responded to and often changes are made based off requests the community has. Cannot be more supportive of these guys!

My husband and I (early 50s) are new golfers in Canada. So this gives us indoor fun playing golf without room for a simulator. We love Oculus Golf+. So much fun to immerge into this VR world and play a round or two together. Trying to get our golf friends into it so we can play some group games. LOVEEEEEEEE it with the club attachment, the sound effects, the "feel" of the club touching the ground...

Interesting episode. Weirdly, I felt that the two companies were so alien from each other as far as golf innovation, and obviously, the two products are very different. Another big difference was how they were represented by the two fellas. I immediately got behind one of the companies and at the same time, instantly didn't with the other.

I bought Golf+ about 3 weeks ago. It's just about the only game I play at the moment. Tons of fun. I'm excited for the ability to make my own courses. It would be fun to re-create courses where I used to live and no longer have access to. I wonder if there could be a way to extract data from Google Earth to use as a starting point for course design to speed up the process.

I’ve played Golf+ a lot and although the game is great, golfers should be aware that it can really mess up your real-world game. After playing Golf+ for a couple weeks, my real clubs felt like they were made of lead, and hitting real golf balls felt like hitting rocks. The virtual game trains your body and brain to imagine the game is weightless, and it took days to get used to real clubs again.

Love this. I did contract work in UX research at Meta Quest for a little over a year. The best thing about that job was finding out about Golf+ and really miss it and my headset. Played an RGC tournament from their Discord and had a blast playing with people all over the States.

That's literally me right now. I kinda despised golf because of reasons however mini golf was fine. Then I tried golf in VR on a whim after seeing a video on it. Brought it to a xmas party and my golf loving cousin enjoyed it. When I got home I tried it out to see if it was actually as good as he said. Well, I ordered a VR golf stick accessory and now I'm watching this video ahaha

Haven’t played irl golf for many years since I have small kids. Last 6 months I’ve played more than 150 rounds in Golf+ and you know what? Today I prefer Golf+ over irl golf ‘cause it’s so realistic and takes no time! Not in line with Golf+ mission, I know but without this game I wouldn’t play at all. Tournaments and match play is like irl golf, you need to control your mind to perform. You’ve got pulse when you tee up for a match against someone from Ireland or whatever. The Golf+ crew is absolutely awesome and I don’t understand how they have time to implement everything they do. Time for round 1 in this week’s tournament, wish me luck! 😎

@@GOLFPLUSVR genuine question but is this more sim like so swing etc matters and is tracked (thus I assume can help you improve, so in theory a beginner never played before with no swing mechanics should get destroyed?) or is this more of a fun, wii esque avatar like game that you can pick up and play and thus not really entailing true golf skill?
