I love how Pohatu's easygoing nature shines through in the animation here. He doesn't look too distressed by waking up in shambles, is only mildly annoyed to see some of the wildlife sampling his lungs, and prioritizes what is basically footwear before ever realizing he also needs his mask. And then when the cap of the pod is too heavy, he just works smarter rather than harder and kicks up the stone beneath the cap.

Transformers started off as a show meant to sell toys, and it spawned a huge fan base that went on for decades. However, in the same opening that was redistributed by Deep Brick from the beta CD, the model of that bird was replaced with an actual biomechanical Rahi. Either way, this was meant to be one, this model was just a placeholder or something.

The Earl of Muffinslap Rahi are basically animals. Rahi bulls, Rahi cats, etc. The Brotherhood of Makuta, before they turned to corruption, were supposed to create all of the Rahi/animals for the Matoran Universe, until Teridax took over and they became warmongering.

What is interesting about this is that Pohatu is trying to look at Strength as his main quirk, but he realized that his arms don’t have enough strength. When he puts the mask on though, he realizes that speed is his talent and has more power in his feet than anything else.

*Damo's Stuff* I'm not sure if you're trying to make a joke, but the torso piece was upside-down in the original set.

I love this, it's like a biopunk cyborg version of the iron giant reassembly scene.

If 11 years ago I saw this animation, and not knowing that Bionicles were infact biological underneath, this wouldve really grossed me out But damn the animation is good
