Oh man, I miss watching this guys videos. Brought me such joy years ago. I've always loved cars since I was a kid but watching vr when I was 15 years old sent me into the car world. The more I think about it, the more I realize how much his lifestyle influenced my love of cars.

Just watched this video again.. Alex (and especially this video) made the CGT (straight piped) become my favorite car in the world when I was just a 14 year old kid 16 years ago. RIP and thank you for creating a boy's dream. Hope to add one to my garage one day!

Gilbert McGillicutty yea he died in the late 2000's in a car crash while driving is 1000+hp 996tt. His car flew off a cliff. After his death there were negative allegations about his business practices. His CGt went missing/stolen. His widow also got into some legal Trouble over fraud.

Lil known fact. Alex had at the time driven more miles in his CGT (like 34k+) at the time and the carbon fiber engine brace yellowed. Porsche sent guys from Germany to inspect. Nobody at the time hear cycled the engine so many times it altered the color of the clear on the carbon. R.I.P buddy. Nobody has driven a CGT as hard as Alex on the DAILY.

@kahlizal69 the CGT is manual, so what he did was press the clutch, the engine gets idle, then press the gas (or in other words rev), and the intoxicating sound comes out, then he took his leg off the clutch, the gear gets placed again, and then he drove normally.. this can be done very very quickly..

Hrm....I might've just seen you before. You ever drive off the 405 and come to West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd (the curvy roads)? I saw a black CGT, but than again, that's probably the most common place to see another Carerra GT. But the driver was driving aggressively. And the last part through the tunnels...I don't remember too well, was that the road to the beach off PCH? Anyways, good times. Have fun, be careful, and godspeed.
