Welcome to Bakemyday Cooking Studio! Today, I’m sharing a special fasting-friendly recipe for Makhana Cookies, perfect for Navratri or any fasting day. These Vrat Cookies are made with healthy ingredients like jaggery, almond flour, and makhana, making them both delicious and nutritious! 🍪🌸
✨ Ingredients:
55 gm Ghee
35 gm Jaggery (replace with sugar if you're fasting without jaggery)
15 gm Pistachio + 1/2 tsp fennel seeds + 1 elaichi pod (ground in a mixer grinder)
25 gm Almond flour
40 gm Makhana (ground, not roasted)
2 tsp Rose petals
1 tsp Milk
Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
2. Keep the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes.
3. Shape into cookies and top with crushed pistachio and rose petals.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
5. Let them cool and enjoy your fasting treat! 😋
