I noticed you have eye tracking working in vrchat! I am completely foreign to 3d modeling and was wondering if you could put together a quick video on how to change an existing avatar to have eye tracking compatibility with the vive pro eye. thanks c:

Do you have a link to the lavalier mic you used?
@Walymie2 жыл бұрын
Do you have a solution for the slight crackling heard after each word in the lavalier mic ? I ordered one but now I worry about having the same issue with mine, that's the kind of detail that would piss me off.

Honestly if you've got an Nvidia GPU, I'd run Nvidia Broadcast and use that to help clean up additional noise via Noise Reduction. Otherwise if you've got an audio interface of some sort with a Noise Gate that could also potential help out if the attack is set really fast. A nicer Lavalier setup (like a Sennheiser wireless set) will of course fix the problem as well but that greatly increases cost (like I have a $300 wireless Sennheiser that sounds way better but most people wouldn't want to spend that much just for their VR Headset! I use it for other stuff so it's not too bad for me)

Got a vive cosmos elite kit for 200 USD, which is an insane deal for something that goes for 900 nowadays but the mic is just so atrocious😅 you'd think HTC wouldn't reuse the mic from the original vive, but they did.
@Sepfy2 жыл бұрын
Yeah seriously! I wish they would've done something better or even approaching the Index!

But what microphone were you using before the first one?

This one, but still not sure if I'd recommend it just yet: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08D6GB5TV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hmm, do you auto block comments with the mention of a certain stand alone headset? I posted a comment about my search for a PC headset now that I won a new card in the Newegg shuffle and my comment was deleted. Anyway, the mic test pushed me a little closer to the valve index. Have you tried Antlion wireless modmic? I got it to capture audio for a certain standalone headset and think it is really good.
@Sepfy3 жыл бұрын
o.o No blocking that I'm aware of at least, how strange! Congrats on the Newegg Shuffle win for sure! Overall I do think the Index is an overall better package. Even if today I'm using a Vive Pro 2 with a Sennheiser wireless mic, the processing on the Index leads to very solid clarity! The modmic stuff is nice and sounds quite solid, but for my purposes (I needed a 3.5mm output that was wireless) it wouldn't work for me!
@buckettraveler83983 жыл бұрын
@@Sepfy ah, ok. So if you still used the valve index you wouldn't use an external mic? I just ordered the index set, hopefully it gets here soon.
@Sepfy3 жыл бұрын
@@buckettraveler8398 Yeah honestly if I was still using the Index the built-in mic is really solid and clear!
