Love all the effort you do Cam, very sadly though I see a lot of creators not giving 2 rats about all of this. Like it's been how long since you made the extremely easy steps of showing us how to set up WD off and yet WD on is still the standard for avatars as of today.

You can delete your first UV after you're done! Otherwise you'll have to select your atlassed UV in your shader when you take it into Unity

I was curious if you were going to mention anything about it. If you didn't do it though, how/where do you change the UV in unity? In the import settings for the FBX or something?

This is amazing info! I really wish I knew about those two plugins last time I made a Quest version of my main avatar. Atlasing the manual way was true pain, lol.

Save you some time at 8:10; enable the Node Wrangler add-on, click on the Principled BSDF, and press ctrl+shift+T (May be just ctrl+T or shift+T for you, hotkeys vary based on set-up and add-ons); it should prompt you to pick an image, ctrl/shift click all your texture files, then click "Principled BSDF Setup," it will automatically arrange all your nodes for you.

I run a 4K texture and a few other 2K textures and my texture memory is only 45 MB. Some people just manage to make their texture memory skyrocket for no good reason. I have a feeling they aren't actually overriding the texture quality, so things that could be 1K or less are still 4K
