Despicable Can’t even get the help I need to survive now that just last month was available. Now all the sudden I’m being cut off and no replacements. Just done. Will put me in the hospital when I have kids/gkids and a husband and old dog to care for. So I’m seeing a plan they’ve devised. Make people weak so they can’t fight back. They won’t have to lift a finger to do it. And they brought in the migration to replace the weak. Not even a fight. 🤷‍♀️

@@sadiemakesmesmile nope, he’s a pretty smart and independent kiddo. Haven’t been able to get any of the grands out in the garden yet, lol. He has allot of interests from computer building and coding video games with his dad to graphic art design, gold panning, and cave exploring. True we encourage his interests just like all the other grandkids but he’s always been interested in history and things. We give the grandkids an ounce of silver for birthdays and things while the others want to trade it in for $ he saves it. There’s too much pressure on kids, family should be a haven not more pressure.

We got wiped out in the 08 crash and our 401k kept losing so we took the hit and put it into an ira. Still had to cash it out to live. Between taxes and losses I’d say we had maybe a third of what we started with. We also sold every bit of gold down to our wedding rings. Was it rough? Yeah I think I’ve got ptsd from it 😂 BUT….it did keep us from starving and it did keep a roof over our head to live some more days. Unfortunately we didn’t recover like we intended and now this is happening AGAIN but bigger. So I’d say whatever you have that’s of value ( in our case gold and 401k money ) helped us. Didn’t get nearly the value but ya know. I’d say this time around things of value are the same but also meds, food, water, survival items heck even an acre of land! I have a friend that has about 8 trailers camping out with their family right now!! Of course are family and long time friends. I’d say they’ve got the best chances there. They sold their big house probably 5 yrs ago and moved more remotely and greener. Private well and solar. I wondered why they had done that but now I know why. Smart thinking or maybe they just wanted to be more remote? Idk but man do I wish we could’ve done something like that. Maybe God has another plan for Us though. 🤷‍♀️ Just do what you can do and don’t worry about what gains or losses you make on Gods money. If it’ll feed you or pay your monthly bills then that’s what it’s for. ❤

I got my money out of 401k decades ago. Damned thing was losing money every month even though I had invested VERY safely. I put it in silver, gold and platinum and never looked back. no one cares more about my money making money than I do, evidently, lol

It definitely sounds like the Lord is looking out for you! 😊 To sell your wedding rings must have been heartbreaking though. Living on a piece of land sounds good but when I go too far down that scenario in my mind I figure that land is like anything else and can still be taken by those who want it and have one more person and or one more pew pew than the landowner does. @@L.Fontein7 Oh man you mentioned our wedding rings. I feel so selfish for even still to this day missing them. There were very long stories about both of our rings ( much to long to write ). I think maybe that was the most painful part for me maybe? I miss them as we still talk about how we got them. BUT thank goodness we had them bcs it saved our family and got us into a rental and some food, moving help etc. They were our last things of value to sell. Still don’t have replacements. Last thing on the list of needs. Thank you for recognizing them as how hard of a sacrifice those were to us even though most people maybe wouldn’t? We are still married after all that and was a test of our strength maybe and we’ve been through so much of that but we have each other and our family. I don’t know what’s to come and you’re so right about the landowning. Only God knows and I’m just trying to not panic 🙈and keep the faith. My hub is so much more calm and optimistic than I. Sometimes drives me nuts why I wasn’t blessed with the same demeanor. Perhaps that’s why we were paired. I’m the one with alarm bells ringing at the first sign of danger and he’s the one to calm me down. We just even each other out. What’s funny is it used to be the other way around. 😂 As far as the pew pews I’m praying it won’t come to that. Praying Americans keep our senses and great love of not just our country but one another and humanity. Know the difference of evil and good and pick each other up when needed. I kind of think it’s more of the boiling frog scenario the more time goes on. We’re just being squeezed to see who pops. No pew pews even needed bcs the ones being taken care of right now are being funded. We who have been here are the ones paying our own ways. Even those dependent on SS or any aid are slowly being squeezed out. Hope I’m making sense. So whatever we have of value to survive on is perhaps the greatest chance we have. Like a drawn out game of chicken? Just a thought. I lost my job in 08. My 401k was cut in half, but I didn't sell. Once you sell it you take the loss. I figured the system wouldn't go to zero. Now my 401k is 10x what it was in 08. Will the next crash be different? Who knows?

Owning Gold was NEVER against the law in the US. The only thing illegal was FDR's executive order masquerading as a law. The current price of gold is outrageous. but it's still not gonna stop me from buy it. It'll just take me longer to save up for it. which won't be hard. P.S. when gold was around $2,000 dollars an ounce back in 2011. I put most of the gold coins ( 15 ) I own. on layaway that my coin dealer offered in his store. my most recent pick up was 3.4 grams of gold. Currently saving cash for a bigger purchase.

If I’m preparing for economic collapse, I’m not buying “collectible” gold coins. I’m buying gold or silver at the best price possible. If one has to sell/trade that coin for good or other things of value, the other person will not give two wet 💩s if you paid over the price of the metal a significant amount.

From my understanding the FDR administration only prosecuted one person for not giving the Feds their gold. Also, a Supreme Court Ruling on the mater only passed by one vote in favor of confiscation so maybe there is a glimmer of hope there.

OR you can try to go to the grocery store and pay for your food and gasoline with gold. Think that will work? You cannot eat gold. You cannot burn gold in your car engine. You cannot pay your light bill with gold. You can cash in your gold for dollars, OR move to another country and try to cash in your gold for their currency.
