Thank you! I'm probably gonna have to go back to a previous version of vroid studio though, this new version looks a little funky compared to what I was used to, haha.

I do agree some of the newer versions of Unity I try to avoid. Especially since most of the newer versions break many of my add-ons which is the only purpose I use it for.

The hair joints are attached directly to the head. All VRoid characters have them whether it is the Beta or Stable version of VRoid. In the stable version they have a slightly different name, which my model put it under "J_Sec_Hair", but it is still attached to the head in the same way the Beta version is. The name of the hair joint will be different for all VRoid models, but they are attached to the head if they have a bone in it. If there are no bones then you don't need to worry about a joint and can just transfer the hair using the plugin.

@@nicejob6632 In the stable version they have a slightly different name, which my model put it under "J_Sec_Hair", but it is still attached to the head just like the Beta version. If there are no bones then you can skip the joint portion of the tutorial and can just transfer the hair using the plugin shown at 07:45. This tutorial still works, but the names of the hair joints are from the Beta version of VRoid. It's the exact same process for the Stable version of VRoid.

why there is no hair joint on my character, smh my tail still attached to the head after using plugin

The hair joint only shows up if you added a bone to it to be able to move. If there is no joint then it's just the hair transferred using the plugin at 07:45. Also this is based off VRoid so if you have a custom character it will be different. This plugin and tutorial do still work and I use it all the time. You most likely couldn't find the joint though, if you didn't move the joint then the hair will still be attached to the head.

I can’t seem to get this part right, followed everything you said but I keep getting a tiny part attached to the head still. Even if I make sure every hair and bone has been transferred to the correct spots.. 😓

The part that is still attached to the head you can click on it and it will bring you to that part's name. Then you can do just like I did in the video to detach it from the head. I do this myself if there is a random part of my model I had changed in Blender.
