Barry used his super speed metabolism to burn of the tranquilizer. That is why he started vibrating at super speed. Oh and yes Barry could have killed the arrow at any point. He is moving so fast Oliver was basically in super slow motion. Idk why Barry's offensive moment was just him running around the Arrow in a circle doing nothing... He does that a lot... Barry could just break Oliver's neck or drop him from a building or anything. It is a bit like Batman pinning Superman without any Kryptonite or anything that could weaken him... It makes no sense..

Since Flash is a spin-off from Arrow. Barry first appeared on 2 episodes of Arrow season 2(2x08 & 2x09). The Flash premiered when Arrow was starting season 3. So these episodes are The Flash 1x08 and Arrow 3x08. The crossover episodes are always the 8th episode of each season except for the Elseworlds crossover which was the 9th episode bc it was The Flash’s 100th ep and they wanted to keep that separate.

Oh if Flash goes real evil, the DC Universe is done. People are like, "But Superman!", and I'm like, "Flash runs back in time and saves Krypton from its destruction. Kal'El never makes it off planet". Here, he's just enraged and that's scary enough, but he could've just straight killed Ollie at any point in the fight, his rage kept him grandstanding.
