what never gets addressed is this: Wells is the man in yellow, we know this. But while he is fighting Barry outside, his speed mirage is sat in the trap. Joe and Eddie are not knocked out. And neither of them check on him. If either went to give him medical attention they'd see he was an illusion and the whole thing would be over.
