So it's basically a layer over the top of VRM that allows for non-VRM components to be used. Noice! Had no idea this was being developed, looks pretty cool! Can't wait to mess with it when I get time!

This is pretty cool! Are you working on allowing us to use custom hotkeys to play animations? So we can be independent from facial expressions. Would also be cool if those can be configured to either overwrite face, or keep face and only animate body. Buttons to trigger animations for people that cannot set up many hotkeys would also be nice I guess :) (Sorry if any of these things are already implemented, I still have to test this stuff out lol) Also, I tested wakaru and VSeeFace really is much better and has very good customizations. Only thing I miss from wakaru is that you can (sorta) control arms, hands etc. with Mouse and Keyboard. Thats mostly just IK stuff, having this would also be a very cool feature (and knowing you, you can do it better ;) ). I was going to test 3tene too but everything is in Japanese and after finding VSeeFace I see no further point in exploring that :D

I know this video has been out a while, but has anyone found a way to do this while also using HanaTool blendshapes? HanaTool requires a defferent version of unity than this (2020.3.13f1) so I haven't yet been able to find a way to make an avatar have shaders (from using the steps in this video) while also using HanaTool... Any help would be really appreciated :)

I was able to save everything but opening the exported file in VSF gives an error asking me to confirm that I used the correct unity version (I was). : / Not sure what to do. I've tried a couple of times now.

I know I'm months too late But I'm just gonna put it right here because I had the same problem and spent a full week trying to get it work. Be sure you have the latest version of VSeeFace that corresponds with the version of the VSF SDK

I'm having a problem, if I only import the UniVRM and VSF SDK I can't do anything because UniVRM demands the UniGLFT_VRMShaders to work and if I apply that package everything works but then VSF complains with "Detected invalid components on avatar: 'UniGLFT.RuntimeGlftInstance'." when I try to export

The shader is probably a poiyomi dissolve effect, im not sure if it is part of the free version though

This might be a long shot, but I'm having problems exporting the VSF after adding animations to it. I'm getting this error consistently FileNotFoundException: C:/Users/PCNAME/AppData/Local/Temp/DefaultCompany/Accessories/AVATARNAME.vsfavatar does not exist System.IO.File.Move (System.String sourceFileName, System.String destFileName) (at :0) VSeeFace.ExportAvatar.ExportAvatarBundle () (at Assets/VSF SDK/Editor/BasicExporter.cs:57)

When I put my avatar in VSeeFace it's invisible and in the preview, I can see it moving around the camera in a tpose. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

This is 2 years late, but the solution to this is to export it as a VSF avatar with the transform 0'd out

There doesn't seem to be a VSF_Animations component in the latest build of the VSFSDK

Update, it's Unity 2019.4.16f1, seems to be something wrong with it. SDK Components appear on later versions of Unity, I'm stuck in an awkward position of editing components in 2019.4.31f1 and then exporting in 2019.4.16f1. But it works for now.

omg yes! standard shader always made weird harsh shadows on my chin and eyes if blendshapes moved mtoon did the same if I didn't turn off shadows in the shader. maybe this will fix it :D

turned out the issue was the model I used to build my avatar didn't have materials set up right in blender and they had different materials on blend shapes and such and it was nothing to do with unity shaders, however the animations are useful and this video helped a lot with that
