hey there, I tried this, but when I export it and try to use it in vseeface, it errors out saying that I need to export it as vrm and then import it and export as vsfavatar... But If i do that, the animations are no longer there and it doesnt work.... Any idea?

Not sure if you'll ever see this but I'm struggling quite a bit with this. I can't get the animations to work... Originally I was using 2022.3.37f1 but even using the version VSF said to use didn't help. I feel like I'm missing something. The expressions show up inside vSeeFace but the items don't show up :( I turned off loop on all the animations so that should be the problem, right ?

Why when I add an asset, in my case "Circle Glasses", to my head armature it looks fine in Unity. However, when I export to VRM and import in to VSeeFace my avatar "looks" fine, but my expressions and mouth tracking from the mic all stop working. My avatar follows my movement and my spring bones work, but all the blend shapes stop working. If I go back to unity and delete the "circle glasses" asset and re-export. My avatar works fine in VSF. I have all my expressions back, my mouth movement/blend shapes return, etc.. I'm not putting the asset on a toggle. I just attaching and exporting as I want the glasses on all the time. What am I missing? Is there a setting for the asset that is incompatible?

Hi, I tried to do a simial thing but With a scythe I made on blender, but the only problem is that when I use the the VSF_animation my character, whenever I press the blendshape start spinning with the scythe LMAO

Only props and expressions, outfits and hair presets are unfortunately part of the mesh and can't be toggled in this way or very easily at all.

If I have the base expressions calibrated to change based on my face tracking, will I still be able to toggle prop blendshapes?

You should be able to, BlendShapes have a lot of different uses and prop toggling should be seperate from face tracking. However I don't have the more detailed face tracking so I'm not entirely sure. I'd say go for it and just make a backup beforehand.

Did you ensure that on the animation file the "loop" box isn't checked. It's checked by default and easy to miss, if it is checked then it will show up but not appear to work at all which is as you described. I hope that helps and sorry your having trouble.

For those that are getting the Runtime Gltf error upon export make sure you remove the Runtime Gltf script from the avatar.

hey uhh when i load it in it says this : Loading VRM avatar (directory of avatar) failed. Object reference not set to an instance of an object If this is a VSFAvatar file, make sure it was exported for unity 2019.4.31f1 and was exported to VRM format and reimported before being exported to VSFAvatar format

I don't know why it didn't work for me :( I've been slaving away at this for hours. I got no error messages or anything. I go to vseeface and i see my blendshape there, but the animation/toggle doesn't work. I still appreciate the video though cause no one really covers it as detailed as you do, I just feel defeated
