Is there a hole inside the front pocket to release rain water? I'm using K&F Concept Alpha Backpack 25L with almost similar features under 100 USD. It's water resistant but there's still a rain cover for additional protection and peace of mind.

There are definitely holes in the side pockets. The front pocket is designed so that the upper flap will direct rain over the edge of the front pocket and it magnetically seals.

Nice review! I always search for your review first than any other reviews before I make a decision as usually your reviews have the information I need. Thank you for all your reviews. I believe this is the first time I see you reviewing the camera bag in past few years and hoping if you can review a Pgytech Onemo 2 backpack. I would love to see you review Onemo2 and compare with this VSGO. I was going to buy the Onemo 2 but now you made think lol.

I just bought mine, I like the extra straps that clip onto the bottom to accommodate a tripod but I can’t quite work out what the 2 extra elasticated straps are intended for, any idea?
@DustinAbbottTWI10 ай бұрын
Are you looking at the waist strap, perhaps?
@brianmuir905910 ай бұрын
@@DustinAbbottTWI no, I have the waist strap and the straps with buckles to fix a tripod onto the bottom. These are 2 elasticated straps, 10” x 1” with Velcro at each end. The only thing I can think of is that it’s to keep equipment secure in the bag when it’s opened so it doesn’t fall out. Pretty sure they will come with all the bags and I can’t see anything relating to their use online.

Good review and nice pack. Do you have any tips on how and where to store camera gear at home? I have everything out on a desk, but would like some storage tips. I've never seen a video from anyone on this subject. Thank you!

Adapting to new camera bag is a bit of a process, that almost cost me a broken lens on first walk.
@DustinAbbottTWI11 ай бұрын
Ouch! You don't want that.

This bag just came out??? Dang, i bought the 20l the other month and was thinking a 25l would had been perfect.

It really is. I've got some 20L bags and I prefer that extra bit of space.

Nice bag but on my gear I like to be able to see it all at once when I open the main compartment. That’s a good size bag the 20L , I may could get use to having a camera pocket, not sure on this set up for me. But you have done a good review of this bag.
@DustinAbbottTWI11 ай бұрын
You can see all the gear at once in this back if you open the back.
@brianmuir905910 ай бұрын
As Dustin says, you can see and organise all your equipment and accessories even when using the divider by using the rear zip.

With all due respect, I've been using this bag daily ever since I reviewed it. I stand by my claims.

Why is that? I didn't get swiped at all while in Rome 8 years ago.

@@DustinAbbottTWI Correct. This bag flashes “Expensive Camera Gear.” - Just watched youtube video pro photographer in Italy had $8k bag of gear stolen off a train by a determined tag team. I had my gear stolen out of my room by hotel staff in Florence. Expensive camera bags may be equivalent to wearing a Rolex in public. Not necessarily a good idea. Italy is crawling with pickpockets and luggage snatchers.
@brianmuir905910 ай бұрын
@@efreutelunless you have a tripod on the outside it looks just like any other backpack, less like a camera bag than the other obvious brands like Lowepro. I wouldn’t advise anyone to leave anything like this unattended, oh and btw I had camera gear stolen from a locker in Rome many years ago.

Lost me at "water-resistant". The definition of water-resistant is - not waterproof!
@DustinAbbottTWI11 ай бұрын
Not fully submerged, probably, but certainly rain proof. Water runs right off it.
