Most people use sketchup for VSF ships because it´s easy to use. But Blender and other 3D model programs will do the same only much more complicated and with much more detail.

thanks, you have to make sure that all the files are in the correct folder and maybe try another version of her.

No it´s an upgrade. Yes all old sceneries should work, but sometimes with issues.
