Excellent video and very inspirational. Wish you could of gone more in depth and maybe detail stuff like 25:54-26:35 with what the changes done in last low bass part done in the wavetable synthesis of Halion 6. The mod wheel trick was very helpful and easy to see how it'll apply to the rest of his piece. Definitely sold me to this stuff. Cool stuff! Awesome shirt

Hi Derik, glad you liked the video. That's an excellent idea! Maybe the wavetable stuff are a video on their own! I will pass on your suggestion, maybe we can do a video about this!

hi Dom,great demo,love the way you explain everything in depth and pre-listen the sounds so we can hear how these building blocks fit together,thats the way to make demo's as i know from dr mix,you have a orchestral background,why not incorporate some orchestral demo's in your tutorials,orchestral embellishes a lot of different kinds of styles and for future synth editions,maybe make some demo's about styles like, kraftwerk,space,and synthwave there's is so many to choose from,anyway,top notch,cheers

Dom, great explanation! Does anyone know how to add the color markers that are shown in the top row? (the ones with written on them: soundscope, theme 1, ... etc.) I find them really useful.

can't remember any horror music sounded that good back then haha. Interesting how Stranger Things and Retrowave changed our idea of 80s soundtracks
@HowlingMoonCinemas3 жыл бұрын
@Wreckage 3001 Actually, friend, real 80's horror/thriller/sci-fi/adventure/action soundtracks like these did sound a lot better than this. Watch Big Trouble In Little China, Tango & Cash, the Halloween movies, The Lost Boys, Predator, The Terminator and Werewolf: The TV Series for some examples.
@wreckage-vs5jv3 жыл бұрын
@@HowlingMoonCinemas I remember (bc I'm that old) Halloween soundtrack was considered nothing but cheap. Aaaand especially Brad Fidel's Terminator theme was, at the time, seen as some keyboard beginner's work. Terms like cold and emotionless were used in many reviews. Well they didn't quite get it. Both are simple and effective as hell. But sounded nothing like this today's blown up stuff.

@@dgwvjhth yes I see now. I may update from absolute 3 for 85 pounds just for groove agent 5 and few more sounds. This will be my last update as long be nothing interesting like at least 3 new instruments. I think is a same trick what NI did with Komplete just adds libraries
@dgwvjhth6 жыл бұрын
@@wizmos74 exactly. I will update because I saved up and was waiting a long time for this. But must say I am a little disappointed today. I was hopping for some new vst's or ground breaking stuff ( think groove agent 5 is ). Maybe the update will surprise me??
