There are many many shopping streets like these everywhere in Japan. But these 2 are one of the longest in Tokyo. Thank you for watching! 😁

Great and relaxing video as always, but those images of the pet shops were unpleasant (they are banned where I live in Australia).

I guess there’s no similar law to ban pet stores in Japan but pros and cons have recently been discussed nowadays. Anyway thank you for watching.

I’ve watched lots of these types of videos and seen the amount of cyclists yet I don’t remember ever seeing one wearing a helmet. Are they not widely worn in Japan? It seems odd considering how prolific cycling is as a means of transport. There’s bound to be accidents...

Wearing a helmet is not mandatory in Japan when riding a bicycle. Only those people who ride sport-type bicycles are wearing ones but I hardly see anyone who ride what we call "mama-chari" (meaning mama's bicycle) wear ones. Unfortunately bike rules are not widely informed in Japan and it's only recent years when the government clearly stated that bicycles are vehicles and must run on vehicle tracks, not on pedestrian walkways. However bicycles have been allowed to run on pedestrian walkways for many many years so that people still think it's OK to run on pedestrian walkways and even if you do, you won't get punished. But I hardly see sport-type bicycles are running on pedestrian walkways. They are always running on vehicle tracks with helmets on. It looks like people consider sport-type bicycles as "bicycles" and mama-chari as something else...
