Project add Honda's are racing 4 bangers but at the same time we all know it will never be a Chevy ls motor. The 98 Integra type r's were pretty aggressive. I rode in one the other day. Red line is 8900. 200hp stock Honda 4 cylinder from the factory. Nissan was also getting their 4 bangers to make 200hp to back in the day. Pretty cool engineering. Very technical, but there is much variety out there when you start to have a decent money stash

@@brenonwhittington2019 2012 civics came stock with a 1.8L single cam engine punshing 138hp at the crank, the 2012 civic "SI" came with the k20z3 and that engine is less powerfull than the k20a found in the 2003-2005 civic type r and less powerfull that the k24 in the 2013-2015 civic si so there is plenty of faster civics than the 2012 model

Reminds me of my old d15b Jdm swap full bolt on Ef hatch si full bolt on. I thought that car was so fast back then when I revved her to like who knows with no rev limit. If only I knew then what I do now. I’d try to get pfi to tune lol. Pfi/ boosted Boiz is getting me to want another Honda ever since the og days. I love the little D..had several. Slowest was a D15 all motor with a few bolt on's..Made 118whp at 7600, 5900ft above sea level..and still gave 60mpg...rand a best of 13,8 on street tires, no LSD..

Hey Brent, You should manufacture and sell a plug in harness to plug into the ignition key door buzzer so you can delete it or put it on a switch. It would be good for racecars etc because when people work on them alot of the time they need the door open and ignition on to test things and upload tunes etc. Stay Rad 🤘.

I would love to see the d17a2 done up a little like that because just that little bit of stroke really does make a difference I own a jdm d17a and my buddy had a d16y8 with the same mods i/h/e only difference I have 3in catback vs his 2.5 he had me at first but I still got him on top end that was from a 20 role I still think hands down the d17 is a better option for power then the d16 but we have little to no support like the d16 because from what iv found the d17 has a better flowing head it's down side is the plastic junk y7 like intake manifold but its possible to put the y8 on d17 and put the d16y8 cam and rocker arms in the d17 head add all those up with kpro pump and fuel return set up I bet it would be that little extra kick in the butt the d16 really lacks compared to the d17 and its extra stroke... opinion mostly but open to learn and hear more because SINGLE JINGLE BABY lmao thanks guys

You want every bit of power at the given rpm.. turning vtec I’m too early won’t let you take advantage of the power from both lobes. But also turning it on too late can also lose a bit of power.

When you drop these chassis past a certain point. The upper control arms hit the shock towers. Some people cut a hole in it to stop them from hitting

Most camber kits on Civics bottom out (well, top out in this case) when the suspension is really stiff and the car is lower than most. Cut towers is mostly a thing with Stance kids but it's done ij track cars as well

Was he doing pulls in 3rd? Isn't it the weakest gear in D-series boxes? I'd love to know as I have a D15Z8 stock i'd like to get a few more horses into... ;)
