Good to know Chris and thanks for leaving a feedback comment. Overtime, when mower is setting iddle for long time and fuel is empty, it's likely the needle will stick on the seat. Having or keeping fuel in the chamber is also not good. Since you installed the metering lever, you don't have to worry about sticking needle. Needle valve will always works all the time and will guarantee an easy starts all the time without flooding. Cheers, VARIETECH

Hi mate. I've watched a few of your videos and thank you for your innovation to the G4 carby. I am a fan of Victa too, and to see someone like you imrove the design of a mower that probaly had a home in 90% of Aussie back yards for decades is brilliant. I was about to order a kit from your store but noticed the metal lever you added. For a few more dollars it seems like it improved the carby performance by quite a bit. So my question is, do you recommend the use of the metal lever with your metal pin in an original G4 carby? Thanks in advance, Emmanuel

Thanks for watching our videos. It's good to know you're also a fan of Victa 2-Stroke. I would recommend you to use the metering lever. It helps to pull the needle down when chamber fuel is empty. Developing the viton tip metal needle is excellent in sealing the valve, but we have issues in the past when it got stuck into the brass seat, especially when primer cap and needle are new. Developing the metering lever solved this issue. I highly recommend you install the metering lever as well. Thanks for your inspiring comment.
