Start offset right of carrier
Speed: 500 km/h (310 mph) (270 kn)
Altitude: 250 m (820 ft)
Heading same as carrier
Hook Down
Look at carrier & check if clear
After passing carrier, maintain heading, speed, and altitude for 10-15 seconds
Break left at 2G
Maintain altitude
At 450 km/h (280 mph) (242 kn)
Flaps full
Gear down
Continue 2G turn until you've done a complete 180
Roll out wings level
Descend to 190 m (623 ft)
Slow down to 320 km/h (200 mph) (172 kn)
8 degrees AOA
Begin turn when you see the round down of carrier
Turn left at a bank of 40 to 45 degrees
Vertical speed -10 m/s (-1968 fpm)
Speed 320 km/h (200 mph) (172 kn)
Halfway of turn, peek at carrier and adjust accordingly
In groove
Maintain 8 degrees AOA
Keep meatball in the middle
Place velocity vector on the right of the runway
In close
Slowly move the velocity vector to the
centreline of runway
Push forward throttle upon landing
