Just an additional tip I didn't see mentioned- what I've noticed from flying helos in dcs if you wish to strafe from side to side just apply cyclic in one direction and opposing rudder e.g. cyclic to left and hard right rudder and your helo will move sideways to the left, cyclic to right and left rudder and you get the opposing effect.

You're supposed to trim fixed wing as well, but fly-by-wire aircraft aka the F-45 auto trim to 1G

very helpfull video i have constant problems to keep trim in the middle so my flights are rather bouncy than smooth... also i am curently doing custom mission in vtol vr editor for AH-94 and need some tester. I have watched this tutorial like 4 times and I have done exactly what you tell me to do and I'm still getting a max of like 100 knots what do I do? I also do put it to flight and I do start it up right

Are your engine rpm and your collective fully forward/up? That's the only way I can get to 200 knots.

I know exactly what's wrong. You have your airspeed units in 'metres per second' not Knots. 100 m/s is about 200 knots. Check what your airspeed readout is in the options menu in the MFD
