Wild Hartz made a post about Rev Says Desu after Rev made a video blaming minorities for the LA wildfire, and people are UPSET at HARTZ? Someone tell me how this makes sense.

The main reason why they're defending him is because wild harts didn't really have the make that post about him from the get go with nothing but insults, could've just started with a schedule and updated on what they're doing. Also insulted the marriage to Rev's wife in front of her when she asked why she did all this, not really painting yourself as a good person by just doing nothing but insults and being senselessly toxic. Also rev and anyone has rights to criticize that video about the DEI in the California fire department because I'm pretty sure the person in that interview wasn't acting professionally, hire people who know what they're doing and are ready for the role not for the sake of just because of diversity.

No one has given me any proof that people were hired simply over skin color. People who complain about DEI simply believe that white people are the only competent humans on the planet, and that if someone who isn't white is hired for a job, it's instantly DEI and they're not qualified. Let's not act like white people haven't been hired for something and acted unprofessional as well. shit happens all the time, but I guess race suddenly doesn't matter then. Weird huh? it's almost like people who complain about it are being racist. It's a joke. a fucking buzzword used by the far right to stir up hate against minorities. that's all it is. a gimmick.

@@StickmanMook There it is; there's the whole narrative, uncritically parroted. "People who complain about DEI simply believe that white people are the only competent humans on the planet, and that if someone who isn't white is hired for a job, it's instantly DEI and they're not qualified." Instantly disprovable. I complain about DEI and yet I don't believe any of those things. You do not know us. You're making assumptions based on things that you have been TOLD to believe. You have been led to believe that the only reason anybody could possibly dislike DEI is because they are bigoted. DEI is just another facet of the tactics used by powerful politicians and corporations wrapping tyranny in false virtue. They condition you to immediately make accusations of bigotry on vague, flimsy grounds. They push laws to make "bigotry" punishable by law. They constantly push to expand the definition of bigotry so that they can make it mean whatever they need it to mean. They want people banned from all social media (ie, the only place where ordinary people can make their voices heard) on the basis of "bigotry", effectively stripping the public of their most important right: freedom of speech. This is all about weaponizing the mob to silence dissent. Already, citizen journalists all over the globe have levelled substantive criticisms of crooked politicians, showing the people provable instances of corruption. The corruption element then gets immediately buried under hysterical, screeching headlines claiming that the journalist in question was "targeting" the politician solely on the basis of race or gender or sexuality. If you, like me, are in any way a left-leaning person who believes in the power of free speech to effect meaningful positive change in society, it is your DUTY to oppose these narratives. To not do so disqualifies you from claiming that label.

@@StickmanMook if a chief assistant is going to VICTIM blame on the interview then thats the most unprofessional thing to ever happen, firemen don't need to be white but fit into the right categories of being strong, athletic, able to carry people, and brave in front of inferno threat and how to fix a bad situation with a team, the chief assistant in that video does not look like someone who can do any of that and if they just gonna victim blame a person caught in a threat that was out of their control I don't want them their with that attitude. Just look at California, terrible management of the fire department.

@@orangesodaninja8882 I fail to see how race plays into the situation Rev is addressing. that's just called unprofessionalism. No need to call it something else because of someone's skin color.

Hi, minority here, I've seen your rather rude comments about people who disagree with DEI related topics, and as a Californian, I really dislike the fact that you've disparaged Rev's video on the California FD DEI policies, because he's very right. We're out here burning and they spent 1-2 million dollars on DEI policies and promoting people who victim blames fire victims while also running out of supplies. That's for the policies, not people. The main point Rev has made over his career is not minorities being hired, but incompetent people being hired, i.e. the FD video shown where they state that they would rather have someone who pooks like the victim rather than putting in the effort to carry them out. I find your arguments here very flawed and full of holes.

So incompetence is the issue and not their race. I've yet to see any proof that fire departments hired people because of their race, and people usually just bring up the person being unprofessional during the interview. Why is it that when it's a minority we call it something else? if I white person is being incompetent, we call it incompetence. if it's a minority, it's DEI. sorry but calling someone something different simply because of their race is RACIST.
@kirasunato172624 күн бұрын
@StickmanMook So you just bring the issue back to being racist. You didn't read or watch anything I guess, I specifically said, and you agreed, that incompetence is the issue. It's DEI being problematic because if you watched the video, which you haven't, they prefer to prioritize matching sex or skin color over doing their jobs. Nobody is saying they shouldn't have their jobs because of their skin color, everyone is saying it because they prioritize it over having the skill to perform their duties. Quit using a Red Herring argument, it's sad and pathetic.
