What I have found is most negativity from people is from a lack of education or just plain need to troll. I have recognized for some time people flock to the internet to find justification from other people for there choices or just to bash and be haters. Have never understood why people can’t just accept people find joy in many different firearms. No need to bash just enjoy the community we have and be happy for each other. Love the videos. I've been watching your channel and paying close attention for some time now. You have presented the FACTS concerning both CZ and Vudoo rifles in a fair and completely unbiased atmosphere in the pursuit of accuracy and in that spirit! Anyone that would suggest otherwise is either experiencing issues with their observation/comprehension abilities, or are too uneducated in this area of firearms to make any logical or reasonable judgements regarding your work here over-all. You provide a means for people to learn a huge amount of factual and practical shooting and accuracy information that would take years and large quantities of ammunition and time in the field to learn through experience. You provide all of this through your own honest and forthright personality and sense of decency! You have my appreciation and hardy "Thanks" for what you do! You can't please everyone all the time. P.T. Barnum said that there is a Fool born every minute... I wonder what he would say in that regard today if he could read the comments sections of YT videos? :)

The Vudoo is a life changer! I used to go to the range with my CZ, the mean kids would give me wedgees, take my Center-X, full my gun with dirt and toss me in the dumpster. Now that I’m part of the Vudoo family it’s like my dad is John Gotti! The mean kids are scared of me, and I’m pretty sure the goth chicks are checking me out, it’s awesome, I highly recommend getting one.

As always, another great video. We shoot our CZ457, because we like it. Our gun club has a 100 yard range. It's enough for our old eye's . We shoot 50 and 100 yard targets and that's enough for us. What we really like is that we can switch barrels, 22LR , 22WMS , 17 HMR, and try different brands of ammo. We shot competition for years and now , we enjoy watching you and others have their fun. Been waiting for another video. As a CZ shooter I prefer it to be the featured rifle, but I like head to head comparisons. At what point with any rifle do you reach the"point of diminishing returns"? I do not compete and shooting off a bench or prone I want to find the best ammo and do the best I can. I don't see your CZ as bastardize. If the barrel and trigger makes you a better shooter then GO FOR IT. You still have far less money in your CZ than your Vudoo. Have a great week!

Hey Josh - Great vid as usual. I had a 457 LRP, it was a great gun, very adjustable for comfort but it didn't shoot anything as well as yours. I'd barely shoot moa with it. A buddy i shoot with has a 455 and he'd clean my clock every outing. We primarily shoot benchrest. I actually sold the gun to my niece because my t1x with eley match shot much better. Listening to all the hype, and not knowing anyone with a Vudoo to give it a go, i purchased V22 three 60 / mtu 20" barreled action from Altus. The gun does not shoot any Lapua great, but does okay with center-x. I've tried multiple lots of Eley Match and all shot better than Lapua, but without question, it shoots RWS-50 best. As far as feeding goes, it feeds Lapua and RWS, but it's awful with Eley. Go figure.

I had a RimX built for me by Zero Dark Precision and it actually shot bulk box AutoMatch better than a well known brand of match ammo. 22LRs are just finicky, I've tested so many different lots in my B14r as well, and SK was the winner so far. Hey Josh Thanks for another awesome video Mate , great shooting it’s clear to see that you give it your best whichever rifle your shooting . I watch every video you put out and I’ve never heard you badmouth any rifle including the Vudoo , you honestly point out the good points during your testing as well as any faults you come across and that is exactly what you should do and what people expect , The Vudoo does have some issues as all firearms do so talking about them is not badmouthing them . I think you are more critical of the CZ pointing out that a deal of modification is required to get them to shoot as accurately as a Vudoo which is true , Mate don’t take any notice of the shitheads out there just keep doing what you do your channel is excellent and has awesome content , Steve .

Great analysis. Actually own a Vudoo, T1X and 455. The vudoo is a great rifle with lapua but less than superb with ammo such as SK standard. Start was rough with a sticky bolt which had to have a break in period. It is very picky on ammo, center-X or nothin lesser. I want to love the thing but not sure it is a keeper at this point. It is easier to have as much fun with my others mini freedom launchers since they shoot amazing Lapua center-X and better than the vudoo the SK Standard, SK Mag and CAN shoot CCI standard. Easy ammo procurement, shooting well cheaper stuff is a nice too have too.

I like my vudoo's but are they the be all end all for 22's ? No. I looked hard into a 457 but the more I looked and outfitting one the way I wanted I was in vudoo territory so that's the route I went. And I primarily wanted to shoot 200 plus yards. Wanna hear something funny about vudoo ? When I ordered mine I was going through the list of barrel options and didn't see lilja on the list. So I inquired to see if I could get a lilja. I was informed lilja did not meet the accuracy standards that vudoo held for their builds so that's why they weren't an option. Lol yeah whatever. The AICS-size magazines and their sensitivity to fit, placement, loading, etc., turn me off the platforms that take them. There's seems to be less fussing about with the designs that use mags sized no greater than is necessary to fit a 22LR cartridge, e.g. CZ, Tikka, Anschutz, etc.

It is the finest rifle I own, I find I am using smaller and smaller targets. A soda pop can sized target (300 yards) I have hit 5 times in a row if I read the wind right. I didn't mind the wait

Why not move the poi a mil up or down, so you are losing the center of your aiming circle? If your just shooting groups, who cares where it's hitting
@PursuitofAccuracy2 жыл бұрын
I do that sometimes for sure. With the reticle I use I can get away with blowing the center out and still have a solid center point to aim

I don't have a vudoo yet, but I'm a massive fan of the product, the innovation, the customer service offered by mike bush. I've seen multiple threads where he's offered his expert advice to people who have rim x/bergaras to get their guns running right. His passion for advancing all things rimfire is something that for me is worth the extra money. As with anything, you'll get your fan boys and your haters. Don't let the d!ckheads get to you Josh, keep doing what you do 💪

Go ahead and bring out the Voodoo like a rich brother that only visits when it's his Birthday or at Christmas time. 🤣 So are we going test the theory that Voodoo shoots better at distance? It might, but wind and shooter will make it hard to tell the difference.
@PursuitofAccuracy3 жыл бұрын
Hahahahaha that would 100% be me. The wind and conditions make it hard to judge performance so its hard to show on 1 outing how rifles stack at distance.....they all vary group sizes based on temp and wind. Some are mlre tolerable to condition changes and others are tempremental to say the least. I think it takes 5-10 sessions with a rifle to really get an idea of how it performs at distance.

AMEN! I will put my 455 against a vudoo any day.
@couespursuit73502 жыл бұрын
I have 2 CZ 455's and a RimX with SSProof barrel. CZ's, one is doing well to go 5/8 at 50 and the other is lucky to produce 7/8 groups at 50 yards. The RimX which is on par with the Vudoo gets me groups at 50 that measure .3* something with 10 shot groups. Actually did it with the same lot Center-X that was tested out for the CZ 455 American. If you have a factory CZ that shoots with a Vudoo you are lucky.

Josh, I'd bet most of your negative feedback are from people that will never own either rifle, they are a little costly for a 22lr and the ammo cost is ridiculous ..........but then again, you need to pay to play !!

Once you replace the factory barrel on a CZ 457, it is no longer a CZ product....it's now a custom rifle.

The vudoo comes with two barrel options.........only 1 of them is their actual barrel. People have been rebarreling rifles since rifles were created.

@@PursuitofAccuracy I fully understand that. My Vudoo 360 has a Shilen barrel on it, exactly as I ordered it from Vudoo...doesn't mean that Shilen manufactured the gun. If I buy a Remington 700 AAC model rifle, then replace the barrel, stock, trigger, recoil lug, and bolt...it's not really a "Remington" product any longer, and I don't refer to it as such. I just think that some people who aren't paying attention to your videos, or who might just read the title, would think that you are shooting a stock CZ 457...which you aren't.

My cz varmint never shot like a vudoo, ever. Also the magazine never have issues when it's put in a decent chassis.
@PursuitofAccuracy Жыл бұрын
Ive shot vudoos in xlr envy pros, mdt acc premiers, manners, etc. I can make mine run flawlessly. But it's design does promote rim locks. The cz's can for sure shoot like a vudoo, now its gonna take time and $$ to get there but its certainly doable. All in all both are great rifles that I thoroughly enjoy shooting. I appreciate you watching and commenting. Be sure to check out my newer videos, ive upped the production quality quite a bit. Thanks!

Great video. I appreciate the objective comparisons.I thought I needed a Vudoo, but I bought a cz pro varmint that I was going to use as a base build. It turn out that ugly little 16" barrel is punching 0.2's pretty consistently at 50 yards with SK rifle match . I haven't tried 100 yds yet. Do I dare switch barrels cause I like the look of a 20" ? I have a Sako p94s that will run with the Vudoos at 100 yards. They own me though at 200. I think that 150 and beyond is where the Vudoos and liljas might shine.
@PursuitofAccuracy3 жыл бұрын
Id be hesitant to try and replace a barrel producing consistent .2's......even if the 16" does like to blow out everyones ear drums at the matches 🤣🤣
@Jeff-mv4yy3 жыл бұрын
@@PursuitofAccuracy Well I may have exaggerated a little. One day doesn't necessarily equate to consistency. But the first day out , I shot 5 5 shot groups with Rifle match .. the biggest was 0.25, the best 0.03" .. Needless to say, I'm freaking out a bit . I'd like to make a few changes, but been there done that on other good shooters and they never do as well after. .. Maybe I just hit the lottery on the RIfle match lot number ..

My vudoo shoots amazing with Eley. We were shooting BR targets and getting ridiculously small groups at 50yds using X-Act. I switched to Eley just to see how much bigger the groups would be, and they were just as small, plus it felt a bit smoother. Was very surprised. Love my Vudoo Gen 2 but the feeding is always an issue if you dont load the magazine right.

Looking forward to seeing your video on the magazine loading. Mine is on an MPA chassis so the fit is great since it can be adjusted but still finicky. Not a deal killer as this thing is amazing plus unlike my center fire, if you get blessed by the barrel gods and the thing is a hummer (I think mine is), it’s lasting forever and not 2500 rounds.
