Jacob Jeffries in the first song on here is absolutely incredible. So much going on. It's like the lyrical performance is OTT (he's even laughing in places and they're both smiling at how ridiculous it is) but it just fits perfectly and it's exactly what it needs. Like he's giving it 11/10 effort and it just works so well. And there's no explanation as to why there's a towel on his head 😂. Absolutely killer opening to an album that is a total work of art.
@doc_sav10 ай бұрын
Call me crazy but i assumed it was to replicate the way long hair might change the sound the mic picked up if the singer were moving their hair.
@wolfumz10 ай бұрын
I think the long hair is meant to be a costume, emulating the long hair of a woman. Putting a hand towel over your head has become short hand for "I'm playing a woman now" on Tik Tok. I love that song because it so plainly seems like something they made up on the spot, while comiserating about Jewish mothers and the like. It's a great counter point to the serious and sensitive parts of the album.

Vulfmon isn’t the hero we deserve, he’s the hero we need. A concept of short, disaggregated collaborations that highlight individual talents while maintaining the artistic vision and ingenuity of the unifying force, mixed with eccentric visual content and musically resilient tracks is exactly the kind of music that speaks to people today. HIGHLIGHTS: 00:03 "How Much Do You Love Me" ~ The Ultimate Babooshka/Aretha mash-up? 06:33 "Alone Again, Naturally" ~ Stoic, moving, and featuring, arguably, the greatest stolen flute solo for 2022. Likely in my top two favourite tracks on this record. 13:23 "Take Me To A Higher Place" ~ Literally filmed at higher altitudes, this behind-the-scenes Rock-U-Mentry reveals the inner workings of dancing/film-clip production, revealing Vulfmon's workhorse methodology. [spoiler alert] Legend has it, this cult laid the groundwork for what is known in modern parlance as TikTok. 20:25 "Let's Go! Let's Go!" ~ Some of the finest racquet-as-instrument-and-mic combo work you'll see on the Socials. This should feature on the WTA circuit shortly. 29:47 "Rutgers" ~ Bringing the melodic classroom full circle, this track features the final coursework material for the sitting test [It will be open book]. Yes, cash is king and money talks. But, if you've done your homework, you shouldn't fear bullish markets. Your handclapping WILL be graded.

At first I thought this album would just be Jack playing his games and having a fun time, but once again he shows us how unpredictable he can be. He's surrounded by people whose talent shines over the guy who's supposed to be the main focus of the album, and it works because that's just how Jack works - putting all of these great artists over and having a great time even being on the background, just for the love of music. And when he puts himself on the spotlight, it's unexpectedly... tender. This beautiful universe of Vulf encapsulates how beautiful the music can be. This makes me really happy. Thank you, Jack Stratton!
