right? it's been a request for literally years. the devs have no interest in implementing it. fortunately, mmj has it and vulkan support will come to mmj before screenswitching comes to mainline

Can you please try to play DS or 3DS, use HDMI out and set it up on a vertical screen orientation to maximize the external display. Also please try if you can still use the touch screen on the retroid pocket even when the screen is off since we are using hdmi out.

I've had this problem a couple of times. I think to be sure you just need to download the roms again that are listed as (Decryped). It's frustrating but worked for me.

Yeah it's safe to play but say you have large hands and find it uncomfortable to hold something that you can feel getting warm then it might get offputting to play.
