I have no idea what genre it's supposed to be but it's very prevalent when you dig for it. It's kind of like 2000's modern folk I guess. Here's a few examples that I personally like sometimes. Fleet Foxes, The Oh Hellos, The Crane Wives, Fish in a Birdcage, Sufjan Stevens, Lord Huron and Hozier. But I feel like those are the common ones. And I honestly think that my love for that type of music came from a few of Radiohead or Counting Crow's songs. There's just something sad and gentle about it? Anyways, I'm intrigued now so I'll go listen to the rest of this song and see if I like it.
