VW Amarok 2023 - All You Need to Know about the Ford Ranger German Competitor !

After 10 years driving Amarok (first the 2.0D now the 3.0D) I just ordered the Ford Ranger Wildtrak X. For me it just looks better and you get more for your money. Still waiting for a BEV Pickup appearing in Germany though...

Why on earth did VW team up with Ford I can't understand. I did like the look of the first gen Amarok, but it was so much more expensive than the competition. I haven't seen this new Ford/VW Amarok in person yet, so I'm looking forward to that. My money will be spent on the Toyota Hilux GR-S. I love the simplicity of Toyota, no fancy super large screen filled with tech and a 10 speed tranny etc., No other bakkie manufacturer in South Africa can keep up with the Hilux in sales.

you didnt comment on the speak system when you removed the back seat , i saw a subwoofer and an amplifier

SO SAD that VW has LOWERED itself to engaging FORD - TERRIBLE! My VW Bora V6 4Motion - 2003 - FAULTLESS, ZERO problems, sadly I had to sell, moved overseas to retire, what a MAGNIFICENT car and Made in Germany. This quality no longer exists. 3 FORD vehicles, all complete JUNK! NEVER AGAIN for FORD. Thank you for allowing me to post a review!

SADLY, that is all it will ever be. VW used to make VERY SOLID and great cars, Ford has ONLY EVER made junk - personal opinion and personal experience. Totally AGREE!
