Got my 2021 Arteon in July and it's the best car I've ever owned. Glad I waited for the updates! I never see another one on the road and I like that. Very exclusive. I live in the middle of the USA and I will 100% guarantee that the reason we don't see Arteon's is because the local VW dealers have become SUV stores. They don't have cars, post-Covid. Because there's zero context with the carcost ad at the beginning. Carcost doesn't mean you get the car at cost. It also doesn't mean you get the car brought down to cost and then have applicable incentives applied. It is a shopping tool to keep you informed and get a fair deal and make sure you aren't being charged for non mandatory fees. The package provided even explains this and gives you a guideline to work with.
