I find your body work videos much more helpful to the avg DIY guy than some of the other VW resto channels.

what other channels? I cannot really find any good, pro grade channels (except for the ones that are covert advertisements for some car restoration companies). Slade's is a great channel, but if you want something more advanced than DIY, it's scarce on KZbin

Great video, man. Panel looks great. Man, I went back and looked at your door hinge video and was so mad. Lol. I went total caveman and just drilled out my door screw heads and had to cut access holes to get the bottom nut plates out to get the rest of the screws out. There were rust holes there on both sides anyway I had to repair. But never again. I'm totally getting one of those impacts. My 74 seems to have little holes on the inner wheels near the bottom hinges that PB straw could fit through. My next beetle will be easier. Haha. These tips are why I watch your channel. Thanks, dude. I'm still mad, though. Hahaha. Be well.

Good job on fixing that line on the left rear quarter panel. Your right door isn’t that bad; if you can’t find a good replacement in the swap meet you can definitely work with it. In fact; even if you find a better replacement you should save it as well; looks better than many I’ve seen plus it’s an OEM one and the fit is perfect. Any replacement you get will need work to make it fit perfectly.

A #4 Phillips screwdriver is a rarely needed, but important part of any complete tool kit. Many folks don't even have a #3. Be good to yourself, buy some simple and proper tools!
