Awesome video, as usual! I like the rivet idea because you can thoroughly paint all sides without having to go to bare metal in spots so it can be welded. It also makes it easier to remove if need be.

Hey my friend, I like using stainless steel rivets, of course, but I think it’s much easier since this is really nothing with stress on it that would need welded.

glad i found your channel. looking into getting another bug, my first car was a 67 tan beetle. I mentioned fixing up a beetle to my wife who then said "I love doodle bugs" but i had to promise I would drive her around in it. thanks again for the great videos

Parked a running car two months ago and last week pulled it out and it died. Another condenser. WTH I have it sitting in the front yard now with the Grinch driving and his dog in the drinkers seat.

You may want to buy a "spray grip" tool. It fits over the spray can nozzle and allows you to activate the sprayer with a hand grip trigger rather than one finger. Good for larger jobs.

I believe I actually have it on the playlist under ultrasonic cleaner. I’ve tried to quite a few different products so far.
