VW California - Italian Alps & Mont Blanc Skyway Cablecar

One night away in our VW California in the Italian Alps to escape the summer heat, staying at Hobo Camping in Courmayeur, Aosta Valley. This is one of the nicest campsites we have been to for epic views, and a really relaxing atmosphere. It even has a hot tub! We had a lovely time enjoying cool temperatures and loving the rain! And we got to do a 'Bucket List' trip on the Skyway cable car up Mont Blanc. #montblanc #epiccamping #skyway #hobocamping

Great to see another video from you. We are a family of four (8yr old and 4yr old) and bought our Cali a couple of months back. Your videos being great inspiration and playing a big part in our decision! Already had a couple of trips away but will really get going in 2020 and can hopefully stay at some of the sites you have!

yes it is a great trip. It's quite expensive which at first made us hesitate about going, but there is so much to see and do that it's worth it!

I would like to know where did you buy the 2 CEE socket plug (the blue one plugged to the Cali at 7:43 while you are heating water). I have not been able to find a similar one. I have seen some of them without cable ( rigid ones, like a Y) but I would like one like yours. Thank you again!

Hi guys, what a great video, we did the other half from Chamonix over to the Hellbrunner about 5-6 years ago but then you couldn't get out and just returned to the Aguille du Midi. How do you find your Purcer screen on the pop top, thinking of getting one.

John Johnson wow, we’d like to try going down the other side, nice to hear from someone else that has been there..! The Purcer screen is a revelation, well worth the money. Cooler in summer, darker, warmer when its cold outside, and quieter. It is a small effort to put on and easier if two of you do it, but well worth it. Makes it darker in the day time so sometimes better to fold some of it back. Fairly durable too, but easy to snag on the mechanism if not careful. Cheers guys for the reply, follow all of your vids, you remind me so much of my travels many moons ago with my two young boys in France in the tent. Now able to travel the same roads in my 2015 CALI SE, mainly in the French alps. Your family are wonderful. you both must be very proud, tres beau.
