VW Camper trip to the South-West Coast of Scotland, great park ups & beaches - Pt 2

I liked seeing Alison’s painting at the end of the vlog - it looked great. I’m an artist too and love sketching and painting when I’m out in my little camper. I suffer with bad cramp on a regular basis and my doctor stopped my quinine medication about 4 years ago due to potential side effects on the heart. She suggested I tried magnesium tablets which you can buy without any prescription at most big supermarkets in the vitamin and supplements section. These work very well for me and I would recommend them. Of course you need to check that extra magnesium is ok for you with your specific health conditions and does not cause a problem with any other medication you take. They can cause diarrhoea in some cases, but I take one tablet every other day and have been perfectly fine and very few, and mild if any, episodes of muscle cramps. Hi, thank you for your comments. I'm sure Allison will be pleased to hear someone liked her painting. We have paintings all over the house but Allison rarely shows them off. I had to convince her to let me add it to the video, she paints all the time and people should see what she can do 😍 I suffer from my cramps with the leukaemia and the meds, so a bit of a double-edged sword. I get cramps in places you wouldn't believe, and at random times, not just leg cramps in bed like the GP automatically thinks. I have tried Magnesium tablets but unfortunately, they had little effect on my cramps...but heyho not to worry we just crack on and get on with living while we can. i just found you guys from my youtube channel and I've subscribed. I just saw that you have leukaemia and want to say I am wowed with you not letting it stop you getting out in the van. You're doing it!!! You are amazing!!!!! My aunt had it and I know what a toll it takes so for you to be out in the van, travelling and doing great youtube content....well I think its astonishing and inspiring. I've got bad depression and anxiety as well asa fractured spine and two knees in stage four arthritis. I'm on the list for a knee replacement so I struggle to drive long distances in Viv-i-van. furthest Ive been since I rebuilt her was Skegness and it was hard driving but I enjoyed it cos I met with fellow friends. Its what I got Viv-i-van for and now I've seen your video, its inspired me to try harder with Viv. this video was brilliant! I'm glad I discovered the channel and I'll be sure to follow and comment. Wow Kenny, thank you so much for your kind words. As you can see from our videos myself and Allison has several health conditions that can make daily life really difficult for both of us. But we both try to stay as positive as we can, keep laughing and enjoy every day as best we can. We love being out in our van with the dogs, just taking every day one step at a time, although there is often a stumble while making those steps. 🤣We hope we can bring a little entertainment and positivity to others and encourage everyone with illnesses and disabilities to try and do whatever they love to do. Hi both, just subscribed to your channel. I’m sorry to hear of your health conditions. It’s good to see you both, getting out in the van regardless 😊 I have SLE (lupus) and fibromyalgia, we also have a van 🚐 its a wonderful tonic, it really is. It’s difficult for me in the summer, (sun & heat is a no no for me) but we head north where it’s generally cooler 🙈 Maybe see you on the road one day, we also have a cocker spaniel 😁 I understand the fatigue feeling your talking about. Keep going with your channel, I do ours to capture our memories and it gives me a bit of a purpose. Best of luck, stay as well as possible. Em 💜

Hi Em, thank you for your comments and well wishes. Allison finds it hard with Fibromyalgia and FND that, in some cases, magnifies whatever pain she has. You are absolutely right, being out in the van is a tonic for both of us and the dogs. Getting out in the fresh air, finding new places or visiting places already travelled is a good way to blow off the cob webs and definitely helps with the mind keeping it busy. Hey guys. We can highly recommend a 3 pan level stackable steamer. Widely available BM, Home bargains. Fitted perfect on a gas ring. Spuds in bottom. Collyflower and brocoli, second top level yellow fish peas etc. Also we have purchased ready roasted whole chicken. ? Cheers from George and Jane.

Hi, I've never even given it a thought to get a stackable pan set. We do use an electric, three-section steamer at home. Yellow Fish Peas...I had to Google that one, I wasn't sure if it was a typo 🤣Will defo consider the pan set. Thanks 😁

Hi, I use the DJI Osmo pocket 3. It's a great camera. I only shoot on 1080 as my laptop is a bit slow if I try to edit 4k. I bought the combo kit so comes with an extra battery, mic case and tripod stand. I hope this helps? Thanks
