Hello!! thanks for the video! i have a passat b5, it works great almost every time but when it rains or when i wash my car or even when i drive over a small pot hole with water the climatronic starts to fail, it blows HOT air (i mean, really hot...) and i have to wait for about 30 - 45 minutes until it starts to blow cold air, what can it be? i live in a very hot city. I hope you can help me!! Tnx!!!

I'm guessing that compressor unit stops working. Check the compressor connectors and clean them, also when it stops blowing cold air stop turn off the car and start it again and follow instructions from this video and see if there's any codes that climatronik reads of there is any look at the video description box and you will find link with faulty codes with detailed explanations. Jodey II there is potential problem with the inner climatronic fan that circulates the air, it should be located under the cabin air filter so make shure that its working!

Hello there, under number 11 you can fin the interior temperature sensor, I belive that it will not affect anything as it is located a bit deeper in the climatronic unit and not right behind the mash

Marco Del Vecchio before leaving your vehicle, click on the button that will reduce the fan speed u ntill it says OFF, and than turn off the vehicle. Next time you start your car the climatronic will be off and you can turn in back on by pressing the fan speed up button

Hey, In my 03 Passat the climatronic is off. Like nothing shows at all. I changed the fuses already. Any other idea of what's wrong?

Jarreau Daniels either the whole climatronic unit blown or you just do not got power to it. I would suggest that you scan your car using VDCS diagnostics, it will definitely make it easier to diagnose the problem

Everydays Buisness you wrote me previously that if it is working without blinking it's ok. And so it is it works perfectly. I can see the code just when I push econ and...but it works perfectly. ( skoda superb 2008.) What do you think do I have to go to an electrician?

Steve 01 yeah if it works perfectly than you do not have to worry about anything, it is maybe a stored code that only comes up when you run diagnostic because it happend a while ago and it was not cleared. So yeah it everything works fine you do not have anything to worry about! :)

Front bumper temp. sensor is damaged. Change it and it should work perfectly.
