Hello I have a problem with my climatronic of a Passat 3b/3BG B5 The external tempertúra varies abruptly from 10 º C to 20 º C or-73 º C. I have changed the external temperature sensor that is in the paragólpes and the control of the climatronic and the problem persists. I followed the tutorial of the video and initially gave me the error 313 but after resetting it did not appear any error code 444. Do you have any idea what the problem might be, or element may be wrong? Thank you for your patience.

Hi ! I've just found your channel. My VW Passat 3b5 1.9 tdi est. 2000 has an intermitent FAN Blower. It may come on over a bump in the road or not. I HAVE just sprayed switch cleaner on the Auto button & windscreen button, left it to dry & it worked . 3 times in a row . Now it doesn't. I therefore assume its something to do with the climatic control not turning the blower on. ANY IDEAS would be most help full. Fan Speeds are fine when it actually starts the blower working . JB

Either the fan installation - wiring loom, or the fan it self it broken pretty much these are usually only two options

Linden Van Genderen yes it is possible but it's hard to pack everything right also ypu need to rare down half the car from inside out and buy new AC module ect. So in theory you can do it but in reality it is a huge and pretty expensive job.

Eloisa Vera there are two possible problems, first is that you have connected your compressor unit directly so it bypasses the climatronic unit and once you start the car your compressor is on automatically so cold air comes out, the second thing is that you maybe have a problem with your car reaching optimum temperature so therefore there is just no heat available to blow hot air, and the last thing I would like to mention is that maybe your internal heater in the car is blown or clogged and the warm antifreeze so you just can not get through it. I am pretty positive one of that reasons could cause this problem you have.

mrs tedger if you have the same climatronic unit follow closely how to enter into test and diagnostic menu. If your climatronic screen blinks, you definitely have a problem with your a/c system in general, it can be just a bad connection or needing a gas recharge all the way to the compressor unit fail....

Hello, i have a problem with my jetta vr6, there is no air flow neither cold or hot, not even in econ mode. The compressor works fine and i already test the fan by power it directly from the battery and comes on just fine, but when i used the code diagnose come out with the codes 04F9 Fresh Air Blower 04FA Recirculation Flap Servo Motor. I think there is a problem with the computer, a friend says that the control panel is the computer and i should replace it. I realy hope you can help me.

sAulinh0o0zzz the computer is usually last to fail. I think the problem is the flap servo motor that regulates the inlet of fresh air in the system of it's stuck both the servo motor and the fan would NOT work. Also I would try google it and see if there is any solution online or even if you are good with hands I would try to take apart the dash and see if I can fix it my self. Servo motor is often dirty and give it a good clean and it should work in most cases. Also try to press recirculation button and then set the fan on highest speed it may work. Hope it helps. This explains exactly the same things that the PDF does. But how to fix the system? In *MY* case, the blower wont turn, making the whole system pretty useless. Here's what I posted in another comment on another video. ===== Nobody seems to actually know anything about Climatronic beyond pressing the buttons to get the fault codes. I have a 2000 Passat and it's using a MOSFET to control the fan motor. The brushes were worn, fixed those, GREAT! Then the fan stopped :-( Well, it didn't stop, it sort of chugs on, barely turning. It's free, power inject makes it spin, so what I am going to do (doing it right now) is to put a switch on the dash to liven the fan. The Climatronic successfully turns on the heat, the cold (it has AC) and the flaps work, so sod the bloody fan, I need to see where I'm going in the morning and not boil, or freeze! ===== Now if we might know where things are, how to take them out without breaking them, or our fingers and how to check them, then this would be really useful information...

ApexMike well my dear friend usually the 12v el blower engine is that that fails, so TRY to put the new unit in and it will work properly, as you can see I'm trying to help everyone in the comments and also I can understand your frustrations because this annoying problem but climatronic is complex system and many of things can go wrong and also on these videos you can see how to diagnose a problem and try to resolve it your self but YT is not professional VAG forum or anything. I personally had the exact same problem as you have on my previous Skoda and I have changed blower fan because fan electronics have failed and it worked perfectly for me. Also if you have the option to adjust the fan speed manually 0-1-2-3-4 the knob wears of and you loose 2-3 speed. because switch is worn out --> change the switch and you should have properly working fan :) hope it helps best regards

Everydays Buisness Thanks. There is no knob on the binnacle - it's all Climatronic. Moreover, as I mentioned, it is MOSFET controlled - not a simple relay, or set of them. I'm going to have to get the scope out - I can see that :-( I'd rather just run the fan, but I ran into another problem, in that if Climatronic doesn't see a fan connected, it does weird things. Damn, I hate this system!

ApexMike I would suggest try one more time and check for all connections and fuses any loose or naked wires or even temp sensors throughout the car. I'm sure that it's a easy fix. Good luck finding the problem.

Everydays Buisness It's OK thanks, I think I got it - it's a dead spot on the motor, which didn't show up when I first changed the brushes. This explains the intermittent nature of the fault. I've ordered a new one from eBay.

Pozdrav, što znači kod 25b, a na desnoj strani 00, našao sam neki podatak da je to motor klapne za preusmjeravanje zraka pod-šoferšajba, a meni ventilator kabine ne radi. Radi se o passatu b5 1997 66 kW. I kompresor ne radi. Hvala!

Bok, vidi u opisu videa link na kodove kvarova, ili izgooglaj climatoronic fault codes sigurno Ce ti izbaciti listu. Ako ti ne radi kompresor moguće da ti baca vise povezanih grešaka pa ova metoda nije najpouzdanija

Turker Izzet if there isn't any symbol showing up or anything I would recommend to check the fuse box and change the climatronic fuse. If that's not the case check the power supply to the climatronic unit!

Druze, drzis ta dva dugmeta kao u videu nekoliko sekundi i klimatronik ti ide u diagonstik mod i prikaze ti kod greske. Da bi znao koji je kod, odnosno koja je greska ako je klimatronik prepoznaje pogledaj u opis videa imaš link na dokument gdje su izlistane sve greške i kodovi i tamo potrazis svoj kod. Ili u krajnjem slučaju googlaš pa na netu nađeš više informacija. Ziv ti meni bio i svako dobro :)
