VW Golf 7.5 2018 Highline Reversing Camera Retrofit

Hello I have retrofitted this in my 2017 golf. When you choose the parallel parking mode you get the yellow blocks and a red block. I don’t get the red block. Is that related to calibration or coding or has it to do with the 5F unit. My 5F unit is 3Q0035874C. Hope you can give a bit of info. Thank you.

my car currently having the lowline camera installed. can i just change/upgrade the camera only without all the other harness ?

No you need a full replacement of camera, harness and possibly a module.

If you have a highline version it will fit without a problem, off course new camera and new harness and u need calibration in the end with Odis

Hi, Just wondering.. I bought a new golf 2 months ago and I picked it up yesterday. I have the popping emblem camera, but I do not have the swerling lines and options you show in your video. IS this a setting or a whole different camera?

Different camera. You’ve got Lowline installed as opposed to Highline.

You'll need a new Emblem Camera, Wiring and then all the applicable coding to be done. It's pretty much like a new installation.
