GTI, the consumption is still good for daily use, and 300hp is nowadays necessary to be faster then other cars if you consider that most new cars (Passat, A6, C-Class) have nearly 200hp.

GTD of course. Economy is just great, and also if you want to drive fast you can drive fast. Street is not a racetrack. Definetely GTD.

Dafür, dass der GTI 300 PS bietet sind 6 Liter bei 100km/h stark, klar ist der GTD die perfekte Mischung aus Performance und extrem niedrigen Verbrauchswerten, der GTI schiebt mit den 300 PS dafür aber nochmal anders.

Those GTD numbers seem very good compared to my mk7.5 (which does about 10mpg less). Have they really improved the engine that much?

@@JocarShorts I’ve had one about 3 years and done a lot of miles in it and even at sensible steady speeds, it doesn’t hit anywhere near these numbers. As far as I’m aware the engine is basically the same in these, so maybe they’ve improved the gearing

@@jonathanprescott5292 Interesting… I’ve had the Audi A3 8V 2.0 TDI Quattro with the same 184 HP as in the MK7.5 GTD. The consumption was a lot higher but to be fair it was also heavier because of the 4x4.

@@JocarShorts true. I was looking at the golf 1.5 e-tsi next because petrol is considerably cheaper than diesel here now, but if the new GTD does that economy I might look at one of those again!

Hab mein Golf 8 gtd seit 9 Monaten mit einer Stage 1. Verbrauche sogar weniger, wie in dem Video. Hab bei einer gemischten Fahrt immer zwischen 4,1-4,4 Liter Verbrauch und ein normaler gti mit 245ps den mein Kollege fährt ist erschreckt von der Power meines Gtd‘s. Ich fahr damit 272 km/h. Bin Mega zufrieden super 2.0L Evo Motor.

Meine Vernünftigkeit sagt GTD aber es ist dann doch ein GTI CS 45 geworden und seit 29tsd km bereue ich es nicht😉

2.1L/100km in imperial mpg is insane. 134mpg That’s nearly 2x what my mk7.5 used to get
