I know you don't have that golf anymore but how'd you get it to go on dyno mode Edit: I looked it up and is says to hold the handbrake up. But once you do the burnout you just release the handbrake? And then hit brakes to reactivate awd?

Yes that correct have to put the handbrake up. But once the rear wheels move it comes back to awd on its own. So if you are doing a burnout and the rear wheels grip and rotates abit it comes back to awd. You can release the hand brake and take off after your burnout , it will come back to awd. Best to practice in an open area first

Please try it in a safe place, put the car in race mode, put your Hazards, pump the brake until traction light comes on, with the hand break up press the gas, something like that, I will find out properly. Once the back wheel starts to rotate it will switch back to all wheel drive, be careful the back wheel needs to be locked and slide if it has to

Yes hand break has to be up, see KZbin how to put 7R in dyno mode, it’s either the gas or break pedal
