There is also a 4motion version of the Id.4 AWD with 210 kW. So the power of the Pro, but AWD. Charging is the same as the GTX.

Perhaps you should clarify that there is a Pro 4Motion as well, which apart from the obvious also manages 184 kW when DC charging.

Your gtx charging session probably rapidgates. Check tesla björns 1000km test of the pro 4motion (same battery as gtx) - it has much better charging numbers at 50 and 60%.

Please redo the gtx charging test. 2024 Gtx and 2024 4motion can maintain over 120kW charging speed until 60%

Great info on these two new versions. I don't get why VW puts these huge wheels on a family car when most people want more range and comfort? The cost to replace 21 tires compared to 19 is also staggering. If you get a change it would be really interesting to see a range test with one of these new 2024 models on 19's or maybe 20 inch rims to see if the difference is a couple percent or more than 10%.

In Finland the 2024 ID.4' s are sold with 19" rims.

@@EneriGiilaan Lucky you! In Canada we can only get 19's on the small battery and the RWD. Every AWD comes with 20's and optional 21's but I'm seeing dealer lots with mostly 21's on them. Not sure if it's because they are mostly getting 21's or because the 21's are not selling as quickly.

@@infernovideo Strange. Mine is indeed 2024 AWD - and as said came with two sets of 19" rims (summer and winter tires).

If you want traction do not get the GTX, get the 4 motion... you get the AWD and the charging curve of the GTX without paying 20k more for it! I do not get the positioning of the GTX versus the 4 motion... it's like they do not want to sell it.... probably why they do not make a ID5 4 motion.... only GTX.

@@abraxastulammo9940 in France the lifemax 4motion model is just under 47k so we get an extra 5k bonus from the governement.... 42k plus almost all the options so i got mine for 50k. I just configured a GTX model with the options and it's 70k... so yeah in France it's 20k diff.... I was going for the Enyaq 85X sportline but it was almost the same... around 65k... So no better deal for a AWD model... MY is the same.... too expensive.

@@abraxastulammo9940 Price diff between Pro and GTX is 10 k euro. (but you get more included with GTX). 4 Motion is just 2-3000 euro more to get awd. In Norway its like 50 k NOK. (better packaging with 4 Motion)

@@intherightmind9467 In Germany atm 47750 EUR 4motion vs 51985 EUR GTX, but you get the IQ Light (matrix) and 20" alloy wheels and more hp with the latter.

Really love the design of the GTX looks awesome but those small front seat armrests instead of a big front center armrest is a no go for me 😢
