Hi Shezi, do you recommend going to iridium plugs on a 2015 VW Jetta 2.0L gas sohc.? I was having engine misfire & flashing check engine light sometimes when I was driving and accelerating, so I replaced my spark plugs, spark plug wires and ignition coil as well. Instead of putting in Bosch FR7HE02 which I saw in couple of youtube videos and which are Nickel plugs, I put in NGK ZFR6FIX-11 which are Iridium plugs, Also I replaced the wires with Denso Ignition wire set and Ignition Coil with NGK Ignition Coil. I don't have engine misfire or flashing check engine light anymore but I can hear like a sparking sound after some time when the engine starts. Do you know where I went wrong? Also in some videos they say the recommended gap is .043 but this video says OEM gap is .032 I'm so confused because I ordered the plugs with a gap of .044 Please advise

@ahmedali-rg9iu - can you ensure gap was appropriate? Have you checked which one is misfiring maybe bad wiring or coil even if they are new
@SheziMotorsport3 ай бұрын
From my research I found the happy to be. 032 unless you have turbo then it's different. German card are notorious for throwing it errors it act certain way for small things. I would try to use Bosch if the sound or issue remains

Hi, how about torque?

Great vid. thank you! Do you know what size gap to use for the spark plug, is it .043?
@SheziMotorsport3 жыл бұрын
@ basil khoury - thank you. VW recommend .032 for the 4cyl non turbo.

@SheziMotorsport2 жыл бұрын
@juan soriano - it should be same as the engine is same from 2011 to 2016 I believe.

@@SheziMotorsport what is the gap i tried 45 and now 35 and it runns normal now
@SheziMotorsport2 жыл бұрын
@jyan soriano - the gap should be around 24-32 if I'm not mistaken for 2.0 non turbo engine.

Did this fix your misfire codes?
@SheziMotorsport3 жыл бұрын
@T. Sherlock - yes replacing the plugs resolved the misfire issues..

Glad it went away for you by changing the plugs. I had to change the coil pack and the plugs to get rid of it

@@CrazyCanuck75 Same issue. I replaced the plugs hoping that would be it but unfortunately check engine came back. About to replace the coil pack and pray I don't need to change the plugs again.

@Droid Master - what codes are you referring to? So sensors were bad and issue resolved?
@DroidMastertaylor-gang-or-die Жыл бұрын
@@SheziMotorsport Code : P0343. It said my sensor was going bad so i replaced it. But then i still had a lil bit of issues so i ended up changing the coil pack & now everything runs great.
