I prefer a vr6. Had an 03 Wolfsburg 1.8t and didn't like how prone they were to problems. Vr6 sounds 10x better

gli with its 1.8t motor out runs the vr6 no matter wat the vr6 has more hp n torque bur weight more. N the gli with its 1.8 more is lighter n than the turbo helps it build power so yea gli will always win

Nah they all got 20v. The difference is with the turbo I believe. Early ones to 03 had a different turbo making around 150hp while 03 onward had an upgraded Turbo making 180hp (in jettas at least) I know in Audi's the 1.8t can make 200 from factory but again with a different turbo.
