In 2008 I had a 1.4i with Cai, powerflow branch & exhaust, 272 billet cam with the vernier & it was tuned at KSD... I took 1st place in the 1400-1500cc class at Lord of the Bling which was at the GoodHope Centre & the car made 89kws!

I have a 1400 citi mods done power flow branch power flow 50mm exhaust and a std dictator managed to make 80.8kw and 144nm

Nice power figures for a 1400 and I'm pretty sure you can get 90 kw and around 160 nm by stroking the 1.4 block to 1.6i and Port and polish a 1.6i throttle body

Still got MK1 Chico running 1.6i AFX engine swop, dictator, 2.0 clutch and flywheel and FFZ gearbox. Unequal length branches, full 57mm stainless free flow and Car makes 92kw and 160nm at 4000rpms

Fit a 2.0 16V ABF Ported and flowed cylinder head to a 1.6i modified Velocity block, machined pin height 2.3 Caravelle pistons, 2.0 16V Conrods, 2.0 8v crankshaft, lightweight valves, 276 cam (intake), 288 cam (exhaust) with vernier pulley's, balanced bottom end, VW lc bearings, high volume modified oil pump, bump up the compression ratio, match port the intake to the cylinder head, Dicktator 60-2 management, 450cc or 350cc injectors, Port and polish VR6 Throttle body, fit with fabricated adapter, modify gear ratios and pretty sure the motor will push out 160+ kw and around 230+ nm of torque, this build is over 55K
