Im trying to sort these bits to do the same conversion, I even have a Mk4 GLI sitting ready to donate its 1.8T for my Caddy but all I see over here in the states are plastic bits for the plates and brackets around the motors on all VWs Mk2/Mk3 and Mk4..maybe all we got were plastic..wish I could find the metal plates and brackets to do this same conversion.

Can u use the one with plastic? cuz i can find alot with plastic and the one in metal cost 300 dollar for one side... :/

You need to run the power from the fuse box using a couple of relays.

Use the part number stated at the start of the video. I found them in a scrapped MK2 Jetta but I believe they come from a MK3/4 Golf
