Both red wires are constant 12v fyi. Other than that this video helped me a lot. Thanks dude.

Great vid been trying to figure out how to wire mine in for a while now, i got a type 0 aswell but mine has the ignition plug with the 3 wires, the parking and the black ground but theres a brown wire aswell do you know what the brown is for?

sk8rbrayan the mounting panel was a spare mk4 dash vent I had. I'm sure you can find one on eBay from any Jetta or golf/gti.

Can you help I installed a cold air intake on my mk4 but now it stalls when I idle of I dont give it gas can you help. Does it need a tune or what thank's keep on pushing the vids out 👌🏾👌🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

xVAxVWx MK4 No tune is required for an intake mod..you may want to go over the vac lines removed to see if it's drawing in air, get these plugged. Also check your MAF sensor, unplug it to see if it does the same. Having a boost gauge is handy as you'll see if you're having vacuum and boost leaks.

I have a mk4 vw jetta gls 1.8t check engine light came on after having problems with over heating it says bank1 is lean? Mas is clean n is working pipes look ok but will look again friend says its a water pump or mas cuz its starting to over heat again any ideas what i need to fix?

bank 1 is your front o2 sensor on the downpipe. So you are running lean, may have to check several parts that's related to it. Check your front o2 sensor, maf sensor, check for leaks in the intake and any cracked hoses. As for overheating, water pump, thermostat, radiator fan switch should be checked.

When correlating the blue, green and red wires to the respective ignition wires how are they put? Do we strip the ignition wires to the turbo timer wires together? You didn’t mention or show

E Junkie For the turbo timer wires, all you do is add them to the existing circuit. Expose the wires and attach turbo timer wires, reconnect the connection you cut and tape it up how it connected originally..You’re good to go.

Call me the DUMMY here. What does the TURBO TIMER do / achieve ??? I am new to the 1.8t. I am still an ALH 1.9 TDI guy but just got hooked up on my 03 Turbo SSSS

After hard driving it is not good to instantly turn off your car, so basiclly this timer lets the engine run and cool down 30sec after you get out off the car

Ceva Frumos The turbo timer keeps the car running with the key removed. For a set amount of time, it will cool down the turbo. Also serves as a voltmeter for the battery.

The same thing is accomplished for FREE by driving your car under 3k rpms a few minutes before parking you know like normal people do, unless you're driving at redline and then park immediately it's a pointless mod on a VW, but YMMV. Nice vid.

Smooth1002 I’m not completely familiar with how emissions tests are done since Hawai’i doesn’t have them but I can confirm in VAG-COM that the emissions equipment says “passed”.
