My car battery was dead and the all the mechanical locks were long gone too. This was the only non-destructive way in to charge the battery and open the doors. Thanks bros!

I was in the same situation until half an hour ago, all the doors locked and no power at all, after like an hour of KZbin on videos like " how to open a car door" I found this video, I wasn't that confident, but in less than 30 seconds hood was opened, luckily dead battery wasn't my problem just some loose contacts. A really big thank you for this guy 🙂👍

awsome!!!absolutely amazing!!!You saved my day!!!right in the middle of nowhere my mk4 got heated up so I went to open the hood and check the water level in the water tank: as i was pulling out the little plastic lever that comes out of the hood, it just snapped and broke to pieces leaving me with the hood semi-opened meaning it was released by the lever inside the car, but still latched and hooked!!! I was in total panic till I came across this video!!! absolutely a SAVER!!!! SHOUTOUTs to you buddy WHOEVER YOU ARE AND WHEREVER YOU ARE!!! Bless ya!!

And I also felt the extreme temperature just trying to remove the actual under tray (I dnt know hw u call that) essentially the plastic cover. In fact once removed, I had no choice but to sit in the car and keep watching your video over and over again along with other videos till it cooled down a bit!! But I must say: u R really Awsome!! Great help, got me in the right direction. In my case, Polo 2010 UK, there was no way to get to the catch. All surrounded in plastic. Once under the car I removed the 2 bolts, t30, holding the catch. That popped the bonnet. then 2 10mm bolts to release the bonnet from the catch and open. problem was where the 2 cables meet the coupler had broken. Great security design but terrible for service ... Thanks for the pointers.
