Awesome video. The last time I took my VW to the local dealer to get my oil changed, they didn't secure the fill cap and I had oil sprayed all over the engine compartment. I'm going to do it myself the next time around.

What a pro, garage lift, torque wrench, got it all xcept for American spec oil (5W-30 or 5W-40) - oops.

I used 0w-40 but I do outline in the beginning to use 5w-40 or 5w-30 per the owners manual.

After taking air filter out He didn’t clean the air filter box , there was a lot of dirt inside

So how come you choose to use 0W-40 oil? Do you live in a colder climate and require a thinner oil when cold?

During winter I'll run 0W-40; it's suggested that you stick with the OEM recommendation of 5W-40.

@@MarkMethods can't believe VW decided 0w-20 is now required in an engine that recommended 5w-40. Not here in Arizona! I'm pushing it to a 5w-30 at the 1000 mile mark before summer hits.
